The Gucci Cruise 2020 show took place today at Rome’s Capitolini Museum, and it was a star-studded affair. Attending along with the likes of Zoë Saldana and Salma Hayek was Gucci campaign star and fashion darling Harry Styles. Styles famously posed for the brand’s cruise men’s tailoring campaign last year, in which he cuddled with some baby farm animals.
Hayek posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the show, giving us a clear look at his outfit. There’s a lot to unpack. Let’s try to break it down.
First thing to note is that Styles is holding a straw Gucci purse. Very summer. Very chic. Yes to this.
Next: those sunglasses, pink-tinted and very millennial. A white suit sans dress shirt. Again, yes.
But the true star of this outfit is a tiny detail you won’t see in this shot. Manicurist Jenny Longworth shared a close-up photo of Styles clutching his purse on Instagram, giving us a clear look at his painted nails.
His stacks of rings are wonderful, it’s true. But look beyond those. That’s an accent nail. Three baby pink nails and one li’l green one. YES to this, all day and every day.

Looking back at his red carpet repertoire, it seems like Styles loves a two-tone nail look. Earlier this month, the singer attended the Met Gala wearing a sheer ruffled Gucci shirt and a single pearl earring. He also sported black on some nails and a similar-looking pale green color on others.
